興味を持っていただきありがとうございます。
十代のボランティアから始まって、通訳ガイド、海外貴賓の接遇、通訳、翻訳、海外・国内添乗などなど、英語をキーワードに民間外交官として日本と世界をつなぐことをライフワークにしてきました。
海外からの観光客も有名人も、かかわったお客様には必ず「日本は第二の故郷」「きみの大ファンだよ」との言葉をいただき、一生をこのように過ごすものと確信していました。
でもあるとき、仕事の失敗から思うところがあり、既得権益にしがみついて仕事するのに嫌気がさし、あんなに大好きだった天職をやめてしまいました。
人大好きは変わらないので、あれから様々な接客業を集中的に経験しましたが…
最後にたどり着いたのは「大好きだった仕事で学んだことを、なるべくたくさんの人にお伝えして、世界に笑顔の輪を広げたい」という熱い思いでした。
"daisy"は「ひなぎく」というお花と「第一級の」や「すてきな」という意味もあります。
ひなぎくのような優しいお花のような笑顔が花咲き、世界中に広がる最高の友達の輪をイメージして"Daisy Friends"としました。
国籍や言語の異なる方々ばかりではなく、もっと広い意味で「異なる個性を持つ人々」とつながるような、「ユニバーサル化」をも支援したいと思っています。

I have been an English/Japanese interpreter, translator,English-speaking guide, coordinator of international events for so many decades; and in fact I have accepted almost any positions related to bridging Japan and the world.
We learned that the language barrier is not the only obstacle when it comes to communication between Japanese and other peoples, but we have soaring walls around us that seem to inhibit non-native Japanese people because of our lack of communication skills.
Therefore we pay more attention to communication quality instead of preciseness of our interpretation/translation and other services.
